Sinema ve film hadisesini başımıza saran Fransız Lumiere Kardeşler olmuş. 28 Aralık 1895 tarihinde yaptıkları ilk film gösterimi bize yepyeni bir dünyanın kapılarını aralamış. O gün bu gündür (ki burada 100 yıldan fazla bir zamanı kastediyorum) doyamadan seyrediyoruz.

Sinema heyecanımız başlangıçta sessiz filmlerle başlamış ancak daha sonra işin içine ses de dahil olmuş. İşin içine ses dahil olunca müziksiz olmaz denmiş tabi ki. Konuşmaların, bakışmaların, öpüşmelerin, düello sahnelerinin, aksiyonun göbeğinin fonunda hep dinledik müzikleri. Kimini sevdik ve çok dinledik, kimini pek tutmadık.
